The series operates with various settings; the viewer encounters artificially built sites, apparently desolate, unfunctional suburban areas and natural environment outside of the urban space. However, the nocturnal pictures of the Over Series share the pattern of not depicting the human being actually but including only allusions to the human presence by the application of certain settings and objects. As a consequence, both the depicted places and the extremely exposed objects function as the legacy of the past, as signs in a constant present, beyond time and space.
